We often exchange emails with partners in the county that require encryption to protect private and sensitive information. Beginning in early April, how we provide that protection will be changing.
As part of our move to Office 365 for Government, protected email will be processed through the O365 set of tools. When Wright County sends a protected (encrypted) email, you will see a message in your email inbox that contains an HTML file attachment that you can open to view the message on the Office 365 Message Encryption portal. When the secure email portal opens, if you have a Microsoft account you select “sign in”. If you do not have a Microsoft account, you select “use one-time passcode” and follow the instructions that appear on your screen.
