Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard. Due to the Memorial Day holiday weekend, numbers weren’t updated last week, so the new numbers reflect a two-week span.
The decline in new cases was pronounced, hitting the lowest since summer of 2020. There were only 154 new cases reported over the last two weeks, with 11 cases that required hospitalization, two cases the required a stay in an Intensive Care Unit and three deaths.
Since the first case was reported in Minnesota in March 2020, there have been 16,351 cases involving Wright County residents with 668 hospitalizations, 128 cases that required ICU stays and 144 deaths.
