Aside from traffic delays on westbound I-94 this morning due to a crash at the Hwy. 241 bridge, the eastbound portion of the road also is undergoing a change starting today.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced that the eastbound ramp on I-94 at Co. Rd. 19 in Albertville is closed and will remain closed through mid-May. To access Co. Rd. 19, eastbound traffic is being diverted to the Co. Rd. 37 exit to return to Co. Rd. 19 via I-94 in the westbound lanes.
In addition, starting today through Friday, April 30, there will be a lane reduction in both directions between Maple Grove and Rogers. Eastbound I-94 will be reduced to two lanes between Hwy. 101 and Hennepin County Road 81 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Westbound traffic will be reduced to two lanes between 105th Avenue and Hennepin Co. Rd. 81 from 4 a.m. to noon daily.
