Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard. For the first time since October, there were no deaths of Wright County residents during the last week.
The lowering of numbers has continued throughout the first two months of 2021 after a string of several weeks in which there were more than 1,000 new cases a week in November and December 2020.
Over the last seven days, there were 148 new confirmed cases, four cases that required hospitalization, one case the required a stay in an Intensive Care Unit and no new reported deaths.
Since the pandemic began in Minnesota almost a year ago, Wright County has seen 12,446 confirmed cases, 484 cases that required hospitalizations, 84 that required an ICU stay and 114 deaths.
