Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard. The number of confirmed cases in Wright County rose to 2,334 – an increase of 191 from the previous week’s report. The number of cases requiring hospitalization increased by 13 to 138 and the number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 increased by two to a total of 14.
Over the last three weeks, Wright County has recorded the highest weekly totals since the pandemic began (185 on the Oct. 8 reports, 228 on Oct. 15 and 191 this week). In all, there have been 605 new confirmed cases, which represents 26 percent of the total since cases started being reported in Wright County in March. Since the start of October, as many county residents have died (7) that had died in the seven months combined since the coronavirus first appeared in the county.
