Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard for the period ending Thursday, Aug. 20. It includes several milestones to the pandemic. The county had a one-week high for positive COVID tests with 101, the number of confirmed cases hit the 1,000 mark in Wright County (currently at 1,019) and included the sixth death of a county resident. The dashboard also includes an interactive map to give case counts by zip code.
After five straight weeks of increases in confirmed cases in July, the number of new cases dropped had dropped the previous two weeks – from 96 in the July 30 report to 87 on Aug. 6 to 71 on Aug. 13.
