Work Begins Tuesday on the Removal of The Corner Bar in St. Michael

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has issued a statement for those who will be driving on Hwy. 241 in St. Michael this week.

Work will be done at the intersection of Hwy. 241/St. Michael Parkway and Main Street S. The work being done is the demolition and removal of The Corner Bar property. Work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18 and is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21. During the construction there will be flaggers, lane closures and lane shifts to allow work crews to have room to remove the building. Drivers are also asked to watch for truck traffic entering and exiting the work area.
