Absentee Voting Can Be Done In Person at Government Center, Seven City Halls

The primary elections in Minnesota are less than two weeks away (Tuesday, Aug. 11) and many residents are taking the option of voting absentee. Absentee voting can be done of two ways – by mail or in person prior to the election.

There are eight voting sites available – at the Auditor/Treasurer’s office in the Wright County Government Center and in seven cities in the county (Albertville, Buffalo, Delano, Hanover, Monticello, Otsego and St. Michael). While anyone who resides in the county can vote at the Wright County Government Center, only residents of the seven cities that conduct absentee voting can vote at their respective polling places.

The following is the listing of voting sites and includes the location, address, phone numbers and the precincts that it serves. Those wishing to vote in advance can do so during regular business hours prior to Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Wright County Government Center – 10 2nd ST. NW, Buffalo; (763) 682-7692; all Wright County precincts.

Albertville City Hall – 5959 Main Ave. NE, Albertville; (763) 496-6801; Albertville Precinct 1 and 2.

Buffalo City Hall – 212 Central Ave., Buffalo; (763) 682-1181; Buffalo Precincts 1, 2 and 3.

Delano City Hall – 234 2nd St. N, Delano; (763) 972-4420; Delano.

Hanover City Hall – 11250 5th St. NE, Hanover; (763) 497-3777; Hanover Precinct 2.

Monticello City Hall – 505 Walnut St., Suite 1, Monticello; (763) 271-3204; Monticello Precincts 1 and 2.

Otsego City Hall – 13400 90th St. NE, Otsego; (763) 441-4414; Otsego Precincts 1A, 2A and 3.

St. Michael City Hall – 11880 Town Center Drive NE, Suite 300, St. Michael; (763) 416-7937, St. Michael Precincts 1A and 1B.
