The primary elections in Minnesota are less than two weeks away (Tuesday, Aug. 11) and many residents are taking the option of voting absentee. Absentee voting can be done of two ways – by mail or in person prior to the election.
There are eight voting sites available – at the Auditor/Treasurer’s office in the Wright County Government Center and in seven cities in the county (Albertville, Buffalo, Delano, Hanover, Monticello, Otsego and St. Michael). While anyone who resides in the county can vote at the Wright County Government Center, only residents of the seven cities that conduct absentee voting can vote at their respective polling places.
