Redetermination of Benefits on County Ditch 10

The following Viewers Report was submitted by Ron Ringquist and his team of viewers’ from the Minnesota Drainage Viewers Association. This report follows the requirements set out by Minnesota Statute 103E.351 to appoint three disinterested viewers to view the ditch and determine benefits and damages. The report will determine how future repair cost are allocated across landowners in the County Ditch #10 watershed. An informational meeting will be held on March 27th, 2019 at the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School located at 8700 County Road 6 SW, Howard Lake, Minnesota. This meeting will start at 6:30pm when the viewers will describe the viewing process and explain how they come up with the benefit amounts. Interested landowners are encouraged to attend this meeting before scheduling a one-on-one sit down with the viewers on March 28th and 29th to discuss their determination on a parcel by parcel basis. The Drainage Authority will then hold a public hearing on April 2nd, 2019 starting at 1:30pm in the Count Commissioner’s Board Room located at 10 2nd Street NW Buffalo, Minnesota to determine if they will to accept this report.
