Election Judges

  • Election judges are needed to help administer elections.  Election judges are paid officials appointed by cities, townships and school districts to staff polling places on election day and ensure the rights of voters are protected.  Servicing as an election judge provides an opportunity to learn more about the election process and is a great service to our community.
    • Qualifications:
      • To serve as an election judge you must:
        • be eligible to vote in Minnesota and be able to read, write, and speak English
          • students 16 & 17 years-old can be election judge trainees
        • complete an election judge training course
        • be appointed by the municipality or school district in which you will serve
