Dental Health

Finding a dental provider can be challenging, especially if you are on specific insurances. This page has resources to help you find a dental provider and oral health tips for people of all ages.

Oral Health Tips

Many oral health issues are completely preventable. Follow these tips to help you toward a healthy mouth!

  • Brush 2 times a day for 2 minutes each time with fluoride toothpaste
  • Floss 1 time every day (flossing should not hurt, although there may be discomfort the first few times after you start flossing)
  • Try mouthwash
  • Drink more water
  • Visit a dentist every 6 months

Children’s Dental Services

Children’s Dental Services is a mobile dental care team that comes to the Health and Human Services building twice each month. They can provide most routine dental treatments such as cleanings, fluoride, sealants, exams, x-rays, fillings, crowns, and extractions.
