Due to a COVID-19 exposure, the Wright County License Center will not be accepting walk-ins starting today, April 20th, and running through the rest of the week. This only applies to those looking to renew driver's licenses that require a photo being taken. Those with appointments will still be served and the walk-up window on the south parking deck of the Wright County Government Center will remain open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to handle all transactions that don't require a photo (license plates, tabs, title transfers, fish and game licenses, etc.). The License Center is anticipated to be back to full staffing on Monday, April 26.
The License Center now has two separate Service Counters. The indoor Service Counter is mainly by appointment for Driver’s License/ID/Permit applications. The Outdoor Walk-Up Window is a walk-up service, first come first served, for Motor Vehicle, DNR, and Limited Driver’s License Services.
