Bad Check Restitution Program

Wright County Attorney Bad Check Restitution Program
This program was created to assist local merchants, at no cost, with bad check losses. It is a diversion program. The goal of the program is to hold check writers accountable and obtain restitution for the victim; all without adding to the administrative and financial burden of the criminal justice system and without any cost to the taxpayers of Wright County. Through December 2013, the County Attorney's Office has collected $269,571 in restitution for victims and has generated $54,878 in revenue for Wright County.
